  • Officers’ Training Academy (OTA): (Men) Unmarried male candidates, aged between 19 and 25 years. (Women) Unmarried women, issueless widows, and issueless divorcees who have not remarried, aged between 19 and 25 years.
  • IMA and OTA: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • INA: Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
  • AFA: Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination.

  • Only unmarried candidates are eligible for IMA, INA, and AFA.
  • For OTA, both unmarried men and women are eligible.
